Urban Summer. The city becomes alive with activity in the summer time. Suddenly the water overtakes the city, reflecting its bright vibrant blue on the buildings. This become brighter, interactions become more exciting, and sunsets last longer. The city reflects is glow.

This piece is 3- D. The hand cut pieces pop off the page creating a dynamic one of a kind piece. Each layer is cut and assembled using archival materials. It is all created with paper keeping things airy and light. It is framed in a matte black shadow box that is 2inch deep. Allowing the artwork to have space to pop off the page. This hand cut piece pushes the viewer to explore the many floors of a building. It plays with being able to see two perspectives at once in a sky rise city building, seeing the building brick right across from you but also the city lay out and floors of individual buildings.
